Aluminum Filters

Aluminum hood filters are cleaner looking than galvanized hood filters and more lightweight than either stainless steel or galvanized hood filters.  Their smooth surface allows for easy grease runoff and cleaning.

Tundra Specialties carries two types of hood filters: framed and frameless. 

Framed hood filters are heavy duty with a “can rolled” edge (meaning seamless edges rather than spot welded) for extra durability.

Flame Gard III frameless hood filters have a full baffle filter height that maximizes grease capture area.

IMPORTANT!  Make sure you properly size replacement hood filters! 

• Dimensions are nominal.  Actual sizes are ½ inch smaller.  For example, a 20” x 20” hood filter is really 19.5” x 19.5."
• Always measure height in the same direction or parallel to the baffles.  Make sure you install your new hood filter with the baffles in the vertical position.
