Stainless steel hood filters are by far the most durable type of filter.  Their polished finish makes them ideal for “open” kitchens where they are visible to the customer.  Stainless steel is corrosion resistant and smooth, allowing for easy grease runoff and cleaning.

Framed hood filters are durable and appealing to the eye.  Framed filters also feature a ““can rolled” edge (meaning seamless edges rather than spot welded) for extra durability.

IMPORTANT!  Make sure you properly size replacement hood filters! 

• Dimensions are nominal.  Actual sizes are ½ inch smaller.  For example, a 20” x 20” hood filter is really 19.5” x 19.5."
• Always measure height in the same direction or parallel to the baffles.  Make sure you install your new hood filter with the baffles in the vertical position.
