Comments about Commercial 3 in Reusable Mesh Strainer:

I put it on the drain pipe that flows out from 3 compartments sink. This net catches almost everything that somehow escaped the strainer in the sink before it reaches into the floor sink drain. It prevents foreign objects from going into the floor sink main drain pipe so it keeps the pipe clean with less build-ups. I a set of two and replace every other day for cleaning the net. Sometimes cleaning the net takes a littl moe effort but the net is strong so it is durable and can use long time.

What temperature will these drain socks handle? Is there a melting temperature?

The manufacturer said not to use a temperature greater than 180°F. I do not recommend using this drain sock for anything other than water; no hot oils or other liquids.
