Comments about BioBag 13 Gallon Compostable Kitchen Liners:

So glad I could save a few dollars by buying in bulk. Have done the research and these are by far the best compostable bags to use. Most say they are compostable, or "natural" but a lot are really just recycled plastic. Buyer beware when shopping, make sure you're getting what you want.
      AND you want these!!

Comments about BioBag 13 Gallon Compostable Kitchen Liners:

We found out that it truely is biodegradeable. When we started using them in our kitchen trash can we put some wet coffee grounds in the trash. Well when we took the bag out to dispose, there was a hole in the side of the bag where the wet coffee grounds were. The moisture must have started the disolving process. Now we wrap anything wet in paper towel or wait until dry. It has not happened since But I know when the bag goes to the land fill it will not be long before it's gone.
        Very satisfied customer

        • Q:

Do these biodegradable bags break down easier in heat than a regular bag?

I would be using this for a coffee company and would be putting hot liquid in the bag. I know that the industrial ones I am currently using are uneffected by the heat but will the biodegradable (assuming corn polymer) break down in heat easier leading to a leaky bag?

Great question, the Biobags do break down with moisture pretty easily. They are pretty thin so if you are looking for something to stay durable, I don't imagine these would work that well. If you would like a sample you can all our sales team at 1.888.388.6372.
