Unclean hands are easily one of the biggest cross-contamination risks in your restaurant. You work with your hands constantly in the kitchen, and proper hand washing techniques only go so far. Having hand sanitizers next to your washing station or in highly trafficked areas, is a must. Whether it’s in a little bottle or a wall mounted dispenser, hand sanitizer takes the guess work out of getting your fingers germ free. The liquid is often inexpensive, but dropping a dollop into your palm and working it around goes a long way. Plus, keeping some sanitizer within reach of your customers is a great way to promote the cleanliness of your establishment.
