  • Q:

It states that the slicing thickness is adjustable. Is it adjustable meaning I can adjust the thickness my self or I have to replace the existing disc with a different thickness cut. I currently have 3/16" cut, need to adjust to 1/8".

When you remove the blade assembly, there is a knob on the end of the shaft that will adjust the thickness.
Nemco has created a rather handy video for this:

It is not recommended to wash this in high temp dish machines, the blades should be hand washed.

      A:

To remove the blade assembly follow the steps below.
      1. Remove the handle assembly which is secured with a single phillips head screw.
      2. Loosen the screw so that the handle assembly can be removed.
      3. Once the handle assembly is removed you will be able to remove the protective shield.
      4. Once the shield is removed you will have access to the 4 screws that secure each blade assembly.
Follow these steps in reverse to assemble the slicing unit.

how do you replace cover plate?

      A:

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to describe this through text. But essentially, you will need to remove the guard; next, you will notice that the cover plate is attached by a hinge pin, you will need to remove this and replace. You may need to remove the entire blade assembly before getting this cover plate to come off easily from its hinge.
