how can i control the cooling on my slush machine, i set it at 5, but it continues to go higher, it s an elmeco? my slush machine works great, but as off now i cannot the cold at a specific number, if i set it at 5, it continues to go higher, whatis the problem? elmeco

What is the "manual and electronic locking system?

T-Roc, we checked with Alfa to see what this list item was and they informed us that the description was incorrect. What it does have is a slide that locks the handle from being used to dispense product. We have updated the description and it should go live on our site soon. Also, if you'd like more electronic controls, Alfa recommended the AFCM units, which have a keyboard display lockout which helps prevent anyone else from changing the programming on the board (raising/lowering temperature, etc.). ABB-2 is more manual than other units (no programming), however, that is also why its less expensive than the AFCM units

does the elmeco 1, 2, & 3 tank units make frozen yogurt as well as slushes ? Ive yet to find anyone that can tell me how the texture & cnsistancy is I am trying to find anyone that can tell me about how the quality of the frozen yogurt is that comes from the elmeco slush machines. Not the quick cream unit but the 1, 2, & 3 tank units that say that they can also make frozen yogurt. I would like to know about the texture, quality, and consistancy. I am opening a small coffee & self serve frozen yogurt shop & these machines are attractive price wise compared to other yogurt machines but can not find 1 person on the whole internet that can answer my question. Not even from the company! Frustrating!

How much space do you need behind the ABB-2 model? (between the unit and the wall)

Regarding the Alfa ABB-2 Frozen Beverage Dispenser, it is recommended that the user allow for at least 3-4 inches of space between the machine and a wall/structure/piece of equipment. Can you use one hopper at a time or do you have to make drinks in both hoppers.

Yes. Not only can you run the hoppers on the Alfa Beverage Dispenser individually but the settings are also individually operated. This means that you don't have to have similar cold/frozen drinks in both hoppers, but you can have a juice in one hopper while you run a frozen icecream or the likes through the other.

No, this particular Alfa Beverage Dispenser runs very quiet. When speaking with an Alfa representative regarding this model he proposed that it may be one of the quietest models the sell.
