  • Q:

Are there top and bottom heating elements? What are the shortest and longest thru times in the tunnel? Is there a LPG and/or natural gas model?

      A:

There are 4 quartz elements on top and 5 quartz element on the bottom. The shortest time is about 3 minutes, and the longest time is about 12 to 13 minutes. The pass time is measured from the moment the leading edge enters the cooking tunnel to the time it exits the cooking tunnel. There is not an LP or Natural gas model available.

  • Q:

what is the reccomended cook time, top and bottom temperature for cooking pizzas

    i'm using a JPO-18 conveyor pizza oven

    • A:

This oven can cook 10-12 16”, 14-16 12”, or 90-110 5” pizzas in one hour. With that being said, a 16" pizza will take about 5 minutes, a 12" pizza will take about 4 minutes and a 5" pizza will take just less than a minute to cook.

The temperature is based on personal preference. Because I do not know the density and thickness of the dough, I can not be too accurate. Try experimenting but make sure that the crust turns golden brown the the cheese is bubbly.
