Hood requirements vary with differing local codes. Please check with your city or county to find out if you need a hood system for the Holman - 210HX.

  • Q:

Does this unit require a type ll hood
Asked on 3/21/2012 by Spike from Wa.

    • A:

It depends on what you are going to cook in the oven and what the local fire codes are. I would suggest speaking to the local Fire department or building code inspectors to get clarification, but here are the general guidelines.
Type I hood - a kitchen hood for collecting and removing grease and smoke.
Type II hood - a general kitchen hood for collecting and removing steam, vapor, fumes,
      heat or odors.
