When it comes to whether or not it needs to be vented, that depends. If you're using the oven for baked goods, where nothing is grease-laden/coated/cooked in grease, then you can get away with not venting this oven. That said, if you're using the oven to cook grease-laden foods you'll need to vent using some kind of overhead hood venting system.
