A splash guard runs the perimeter of the plate and a 3 1/4 inch grease channel along the front edge makes for quick draining and debris removal. The grilling plate of the Toastmaster 48 inch PRO-SERIES™ Countertop Electric Griddle (TMGE48) is a single 3/4 inch plate of steel to ensure durability and an even distribution of heat. The TMGE48 is UL listed.
