  • Q:

Does this absolutely need to go undercounter?

Why does this say it is an undercounter dishwasher? Does it need to be under a counter or can it stand alone?
Asked on 6/13/2013 by Paul from Lincoln City, OR

    1 answer

    • A:

      Thanks for your question Paul.

This Fagor AD-48W High Temperature Undercounter Dishwasher can absolutely be used as a standing unit wherever you'd like to place it. The "undercounter" label refers to the height of the unit and that it easily fits underneath a standard-sized counter.

What is the cycle time? and yearly energy cost, average?

    Asked on 5/23/2013 by Anonymous

    1 answer

    • A:

Thank you for bringing your question to Tundra Restaurant Supply.

In regards to the Fagor AD-48W cycle times can range anywhere from 1-3 minutes.

      Wash: 40s-160s
      Dwell: 5s
      Rinse: 15s

      There is no drying cycle.

As for energy usage, this is all dependent on your consumption and how many times a day it is running. It only uses .9 Gallons of water for the entire cycle at 3.5 KWH. To find your estimated savings, you will need to calculate your estimated usage.

  • Q:

Do you have castors for this dishwasher?

    Model Fagor FI-48W castors
    Asked on 3/21/2013 by Dara

    1 answer

    • A:

Thanks for coming to Tundra Restaurant Supply with your question Dara.

We do not sell casters for this Fagor FI-48W High Temperature Undercounter Dishwasher, and our technician would discourage you from making modifications to this unit. Once the unit has been modified in any way the warranty is void.

  • Q:

Can you give me any information on how much reflective (or similar) heat this unit might have? I'm concerned w/the unit raising the room temp?
Asked on 12/3/2012 by Susan from Minnesota

    1 answer

    • A:

The water will get up to 180 degrees F, which creates steam, so depending on how big the room you're putting it in is, it could raise the room temperature slightly.

  • Q:

If we want to buy this product and set up a payment plan, how far in advance do we need to do that?

How much would it be per month if we wanted a 2 year plan? 3 year plan? Also, is there interest on the plan? Do we need to pay for a liftgate? Can we have an installation? Does this machine come with detergents and sanitizers?
Asked on 7/21/2012 by Steph from Aurora, CO

    1 answer

    • A:

These are all GREAT questions. Unfortunately I can not discuss pricing through our ask and answer platform. For free consultation on our lease to own program you can call 1-888-388-6372.

You will need a lift gate for this unit unless you use your own staff to lift it. The unit weighs just under 150 lbs. You will also be responsible for installing the unit. Detergent and sanitizer is not included.
