You have two choices here: 1) if you’re looking to invest in a new fryer, you can get one with is already LP, or 2) invest in a conversion kit such as, https://www.etundra.com/restaurant-parts/gas-parts/conversion-kits/commercial-natural-gas-to-lp-conversion-kit/, and DIY. Let us know if you need help with the DIY part – we’d love to walk you through the process!

    • Q:

What is the warranty on this model and what sort of medium duty establishments can this fryer be used for?
Asked on 4/17/2013 by Lola from Denver

      • A:

Thanks for bringing your question to Tundra Restaurant Supply Lola.

This Pitco 35C+S Frialator 40 Lb Commercial Gas Fryer has a 1 year parts and labor warranty associated with it.

The medium duty in the features refers to the output of the unit. Typically, a fryer produces 1 1/2 to 2 times the amount of product as the capacity of the oil held. For instance, this 40 lb fryer produces 60-80 lbs of fries per hour. We would consider an establishment that uses this amount of fries in an hour medium sized. If your establishment needs a fryer that can produce more than this you'll want something a little bigger.
