The Crown Steam 40 Gallon Direct Steam Kettle (DP-40F) allows you to use stockpot cooking methods to prepare larger amounts of food than a conventional oven. This Crown Steam - DP-40F - 40 Gallon Direct Steam Kettle is constructed from welded stainless steel, including a 316 stainless steel interior for high acid cooking. A steam jacket covers the lower 2/3 of the kettle, with a hemispheric shape for superior heat circulation. Safety features on the NSF-certified kettle include a safety shutoff valve, an automatic low-water shutoff, and a vacuum-pressure gauge.
