      Although it doesn't look exactly the same as the original for the blender I have, it works just the same and it fits perfectly. It has the same shape. I like it!

          This tamper fits all Vitamix models.

          This tamper will work for advance containers.

          The container is slightly larger than 48 ounces, to help prevent any spillovers from turning the blender on. It is not 64 ounces.

          This tamper will not fit your Dash blender as it is designed for Vitamix models. Unfortunately we do not carry Dash parts or equipment currently.

          After reaching out to Vitamix, I have found that this particular model fits 64oz containers. The tamper for the 32oz and 48oz containers is the vitamix mini tamper that is 9 3/4" in length.

        Will this tamper work for the Vitamix Professional Series 750 which has a wider base. (12" tampers are too long).

        I am looking for the tamper that is associated with the Vitamix Professional Series 750. The 12" versions of this tamper are too long and are shredded by the 750. Please advise if you have this version of the tamper in stock or where I may purchase this item. Thank you for your time!

          After speaking with Vita-Mix we've determined that you'll want a Vita-Mix #16041 tamper for your Pro Series 750 blender. This one should fit and not get chopped up.

          We don't currently stock this part, but we special order for customers on a daily basis. If you'll give a member of our Tundra Restaurant Supply team a call at 1-888-388-6372 we'll order this tamper for you.

          I am sorry, our Vita Mix parts fit commercial equipment only. Vita Mix 3600 is a residential unit. You will need to contact Vita Mix directly for a replacement tamper.
