    Is this the correct element for wells mod.# smp. Is there a high limit switch for this model?

      I will need more information to determine the correct element and switch for your unit. Is it an SMPT 120V, SMPT 208/240V, SMPT-27 120V or a SMPT-27 208/240V? The heating element will depend on the voltage and model.

      Lastly, I do not see a hi limit switch in the parts breakdown for the SMPT warmers. I have attached a few items below that may be what your looking for.
