Burner Air Shutters

Burner air shutters help control the air to gas ratio that happens in your gas range equipment. The shutter helps you achieve that small, hard blue flame you're looking for on each of your burners. Over time, dust, lint or dirt can collect around your air shutter, affecting your cooking flame (and ultimately your product). If you find a simple cleaning of the air shutters hasn't fixed the quality of your flame, try replacing the air shutter with a new gas burner part.
