Comments about Imperial Conversion Kit Nat Gas to LP:
Product was installed and worked flawlessly in two different fryers. It was good to know that what I ordered worked as advertised. Product was a more expensive than others which is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. I was willing to pay to buy from eTundra as I was confident in it being the right part.

Q:where does the thimble looking piece go no instructions with my kit
A:It goes just below the pilot light. Unscrew the the gas supply tube from the bottom of the pilot assembly. The part you have in question is just inside the pilot assembly. The old one should slide right out.
A:The thimble piece goes into the pilot.
Q:Converting to LP gas.
A:Natural gas flow is about 4 ounces. You should install a low pressure regulator upstream from your gas valve since LPG is high pressure. You can install a low pressure regulator on your tank or somewhere in between your equipment and tank. After you install your orifices etc, you will need to adjust your pilot by turning the screw on the side of your gas valve. Turn it to the left or open it up until you get a blue flame without any yellow tip.
A:Yes, you will need a gas regulator. Gas is measured in water column inches. LP gas is heavier & flows at a higher rate than natural gas.
Q:will this fit im-68600
A:I will need the manufacturer, correct part number and serial number to find you the right conversion kit. Please call our sales team at 1.888.388.6372 with this information. They can find you the parts you need!
