          This regulator is rate for up to 250,000 BTU with a WC between 3-6".

        I have a whole house backup generator and need to regulate the gas flow. Is this the correct device? There is sufficient room to install inline after the gas cutoff valve and the generator.

          There is not an orifice on this regulator, it's just 1/2" gas line in and out. If you need orifices for the burners/pilots/valves on the equipment you are attaching this regulator to, you need to know if it is NAT or LP and what your altitude is.
