Replacing the blades on your food prep equipment
Many find that the blades are the first thing that need replacing on your commercial prep equipment. Take care when replacing blades—new blades are extremely sharp (sharper than you probably think) and it's easy to get careless. Before you get started replacing the blades on any slicer or chopper keep the following materials close by:
Food-grade lubricant or grease
Cut-resistant glove, like chain mesh
The wrench helps you unscrew any bolts on the assembly while the lubricant makes it easy to push bushings back into place. Gloves are also helpful when it comes to handling the blades for your equipment.
