          • Q:

The above capillary air sensing unit. What i want to know is is it capable to turn on and off a 1000 watt compressor for a modular refrigeration plant.
I want to interrupt the on/off circuit with the thermostat to control the temperature. What types of terminals would it have for the wire circuits?
            Thanks

Is there a way to change cut in and out on a thermostat

What is the cut in and out for this thermostat. My data logger says it is keeping the temp between 40 degrees and 57 degrees is there a way to tighten this it is turned all the way down right before off. The sensor is in the coils where the original one was.

Thanks for contacting Tundra Restaurant Supply with your question.

Yes, this Air Sensing Refrigerator Thermostat does have a way to adjust the cut in and out. Here is an image of the back end of the thermostat: http://www.etundra.com/EnlargedImage.aspx?productID=1034

That said, our technician does not recommend adjusting this as it could damage the part.

would this control replace a ranco A30-3780-000 cold control
            Asked on 4/10/2012 by Anonymous

            1 answer

            • A:

No, this will not replace your A30-3780 cold control. This replaces Ranco #A12-1514.

We do not have anything on our site that will replace your cold control. Perhaps you can get me the model and serial number of your unit and I can find another OEM part that will work.

In case you wrote the model number down wrong, we do have a replacement for a Ranco A30-3730. Please see below.
