Between servers, hosts and bussers, coffee pots change hands quite regularly; so it's no surprise if one (or more) of your coffee pots bears a few battle wounds in the line of duty. Luckily, you can typically pick up a new coffee pot at little cost to you. Don't forget to consider what color handle you need (decaf or regular?) to ensure your staff knows which brew is in each pot.
