Tablecraft was created in 1946 by Adolf Davis and his son Dalton Davis. Hailing from Chicago, IL, they began with a small selection of kitchen utensils, griddle supplies and ashtrays. A few years passed and Tablecraft started using injection molding to make baskets and bus boxes. Those black and red serving baskets are considered diner classics and are perhaps what Tablecraft is best known for. But Tablecraft has since expanded way beyond French fry baskets and ashtrays. Today, the manufacturer now designs products for both the BOH and FOH, ranging from squeeze bottles, buffet servers, beverage dispensers, serveware, and even professional baking tools.
