Work Morally, Ethically and Lawfully

Here at Tundra we treat our customers security like we would our own, which is why our entire site is ran on HTTPS with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software from one of the industry’s most widely trusted authority certificates in the world: DigiCert Root Certificates.

What does that mean?

The difference between sites that use HTTP in their URL and HTTPS is that the S ensures you’re on a secure site that is using SSL. You should also see a small lock in the upper-left corner of your browser that is locked, which means that the page is secure.

It should be mentioned that not all browsers are the same. Internet Explorer sometimes displays the lock icon in the lower-right of the browser window, while Mozilla’s Firefox will show the licensing info when you click on the world icon next to the URL - when the window pop’s up, you can click on “View Certificate” to view more details on the SSL certificate. Regardless of what browser you use, you should always see HTTPS in front of the URL, instead of HTTP.

What information is secure?

When you are shopping on our site, all of your information will be secure. Whether you’re shopping or purchasing, on a mobile device or computer, your information is secure, including your name and credit card information – guaranteed.

Why is security so important?

When you shop on a site that is not secure, you are at risk of a data breach; meaning, your personal information can be stolen and used against you. Sadly, 3 in 4 of leading online retailers and top 100 US banks are failing to adopt online security and privacy best practices.

Here at Tundra, we take security and safe shopping serious, because we believe that it is morally, ethically, and lawfully our obligation to our customers and team. Whenever you shop or make a purchase on our site, you can rest assure that your information is always protected.
