        Whether a product can be recycled depends upon where you live. For instance, in Boulder, Colorado, the only cups that are recyclable are heavy-duty, plastic "souvenir" cups, such as those from sporting events.

        Some cups can be composted in Boulder, but this is not one of them. Look for the words "Certified Compostable" or "Compostable in a Commercial Facility."

        I am sorry, because this is a paper based cup, there is actually no recycle number associated with it. The cup is made up of 24% post consumer fiber and is technically not recyclable.
