Commercial Soap Dispensers
The commercial bathroom soap dispenser is a staple for restaurants. Whether it’s a wall automatic soap dispenser or sink mounted soap dispensers, you know how important for sanitation it is to have soap at the ready near restroom and back-of-house sinks in your establishment. And with hands-free options trending, TundraFMP has touchless soap dispensers to help you keep up.
Automatic vs manual soap dispensersA commercial automatic foam soap dispenser may cost you more up front, but the cost savings over time from being able to control the amount of soap customer use adds up. Plus, customers will appreciate the extra step towards making your establishment more touchless.
However, manual built in foaming soap dispensers or push dish soap dispensers are good options too. After all, you don’t have to worry about replacing batteries in them and they get the job done just as well.
Whatever restaurant soap dispensers you choose, when you’re looking for commercial soap dispenser refills, we have you covered for those too. Soap dispenser FAQsHow do you refill a commercial soap dispenser?
It’s slightly different for every type and model, but here are the general steps.
1. Remove the empty soap bag. There’s typically a plastic nozzle you’ll need to take out of the dispensing slot. Throw the bag away.
2. To insert the new bag, place in and securely install the nozzle into the slot.
3. Test it out. If soap isn’t dispensing, check to make sure the nozzle is securely installed.
Can you put hand sanitizer in a soap dispenser?Actually, yes! However, it depends on the dispenser. Some soap dispensers can only handle foaming soap and some may not hold up to the level of alcohol in hand sanitizer. You may not need to get a whole new dispenser, but you may need to change out the valves and inner tank of your current dispenser, depending on the type you have. And in most cases, liquid hand sanitizer is more likely to go in no problem than gel hand sanitizer.
How does an automatic soap dispenser work? Most of us use automatic soap dispensers without giving a second thought to how they work, just trusting that they will. But for those of us who are curious, or deciding which type to buy, here’s a little information. There are primarily two ways these devices can work – with infrared sensors or photo sensors. Infrared sensor dispensers dispense when body heat is detected beneath the sensor, while photo sensor dispensers dispense when light is blocked by a hand beneath the sensor. Photo sensor dispensers are more common, but both are good options.
