This bar can be mounted vertically, horizontally, or anywhere in between to best suit the situation. When mounted, the Bobrick 18 inch x 1 1/4 inch Straight Grab Bar with Satin Finish (B-5806X18) sits 1 1/2 inches away from the wall and can support up to 900 pounds safely.
