  • Q:

If I only use one tank will this decrease the amps to 7.5 amps?

I am looking for an economical fryer for my consession trailer. Do you think this is a wise purchase or do you recommend some other model. If you have a gas fryer that would work just as well please advise.

Thanks for bringing your question to Tundra Restaurant Supply Judy.

This AdCraft DF-6L-2 Double Tank Countertop Fryer actually draws 15 amps per tank, and each tank is powered by its own cord and plug. That said, our technician confirms this model should work just fine in a food truck if you've got the power to supply it. Given that you're looking for something a little more economical, I'd recommend giving a member of our team a call at 1-888-388-6372 to discuss your needs and what fryers would work best to suit them.
