How is this model at slicing cheese?

    • A:

Well, the G14 is a belt-driven slicer, so if you're slicing cheese, you'll eventually burn out the belt. For cheese slicing, you really need a gear driven slicer. The entry level gear driven slicer is the GC512, which will handle some light cheese slicing with ease. However, for intensive cheese use, I'd recommend the 3600N. It is ""ideal for cheese.""
