It should come as no surprise that when shopping for a commercial food processor by Waring® you can expect the same long-lasting durability that this brand is known for. At Tundra Restaurant Supply we have a variety of Waring® food processors, including batch bowl, continuous feed and combination units. Equipped with powerful motors and the revolutionary LiquiLock® Seal System, Waring® food processors are built to tackle the needs of a commercial kitchen.
Waring® Food Processor Buying Considerations
Before purchasing your commercial food processor, first consider what you're processing and how much of it. A stronger motor might be necessary if you anticipate using the food processor for long stretches at a time. By the same logic, if you don't anticipate frequent use then you can save some money looking for models with less HP.
When thinking about the food you intend to process, think about its physical size as well. A wider feeding tube might be necessary for large onions or squash.
Finally, if a batch bowl food processor is on your list, consider capacity. With bowls available in a variety of sizes, make sure you size appropriately to your needs.
The Difference Between Waring® Continuous and Batch Bowl Food Processors
Waring® food processors come in batch bowl, continuous feed or combination models.
Batch bowl food processors are common in home and commercial kitchens alike. Equipped with a variety of attachments that slice, shred, dice chop and more, batch bowls vary in size from smaller, 2.5-quart sizes all the way up to 6-quarts.
Continuous feed food processors dispense food into a separate container which helps when you need to process large batches of food to make items in bulk (like salsa). Like batch bowl food processors, continuous feed commercial food processors can also slice, dice and shred in bulk—think hash browns during a busy morning service. While great for large projects, continuous feed food processors cannot emulsify, knead dough or puree like their batch bowl counterparts.
Lastly, as you might have guessed, combination models give you the best of both worlds! These food processors often come with attachments to switch between a batch bowl or continuous feed dispenser to adjust to the job at hand.
The Waring® LiquiLock® Seal System
The new, revolutionary LiquiLock® Seal System from Waring® ensures that messes are a thing of the past. Equipped with a dishwasher-safe, removable seal on the batch bowl lid, the LiquiLock® Seal System featured on the Waring® food processor ensures that your soups, sauces and purees are processed without leaks. And since the S-blade and seals and locks into place, you'll have safer, mess-free, no-hassle pours. A little loss of product here and there might not seem much, but you'll be amazed at how much more product you'll save from each batch!
