It’s durable courtesy of a stainless steel enclosure and a framed ceramic top. It also includes many safety functions such as empty pan shut-off, overheat protection, and automatic shut-off. The Vollrath - 59501 - Mirage® Drop-In Induction Hot Plate offers push button control with an LED readout and is certified by the NSF.
